Lately we’ve been crazy for polka dots! From some of our newest arrivals, to favorites we’ve stocked for a while, polka dots are a staple for any vintage wardrobe. Our inspiration started with a photo from one of our favorite gals, Marilyn Monroe. Here she’s wearing a vintage-cut polka dot dress–her low neckline and lifted bust make this completely sexy, but the polka dot print add the perfect amount of playfulness as well. Her combination of glamour and fun inspired us to show you how you can incorporate this loved and timeless print into your own wardrobe.

So what can you do with polka dots? We offer a couple different options for different types of occasions and needs. First, the polka dot corset. You can choose from an over bust or underbust corset–overbust can be worn all on its own, and the underbust option can be word over top of a blouse for a sexy outerwear look.

Our newest polka additions come from the Dahlia collection. Here you see the push-up bra, garter belt, and panty all paired together. The print on this set is smaller and a bit more subtle, so wearing all three at once isn’t too overpowering. We promise you’ll love this new set so make sure you snatch one up before they’re all gone!

Finally, we couldn’t complete a list of our favorite polka dotted garments without mentioning stockings. These sheer black stockings are from the Pamela Anderson Collection and come complete with Pam’s signature on the welt, and glam swiss dots for a little something extra. Not only are they a great way to play up a day time outfit, but they work just as well paired with just lingerie.

So what’s your favorite way to wear polka dots? Will you go for the lingerie, the stockings, or the daywear? Of course, you could always do all three! Even though it’s not exactly the season for the infamous yellow polka dot bikini anymore, there’s always a way to rock a fun vintage trend like this one, whether it’s in the bedroom or on the streets.
